Outdoor activities in Edinburgh: it’s a most wonderful time of the year!

Outdoors in Greenland
It’s looking highly likely Erik Boomer has busted his nose. So it’s a little strange that he is screaming with delight.

Erik is one of the stars of this year’s European Outdoor Film Tour and his screams of delight have been born out of just having kayaked the kind of waterfall that most of us would consider a suicide drop.

In his defence, it did look amazingly fun and that little bit of devil may care is something all of us can relate to as we cast ourselves off down a steep red or black, never quite sure what’s in store.

With an adrenalin packed line-up ranging from canoeing in the Amazon to mountain biking in Canada, EOFT is just one of a number outdoor film festivals landing on our doorstep and letting us enjoy high octane adventure in far flung locales.
