The Equipment

Up to date equipment from the manufacturers of Rossignol and Head

Thanks to our friends at Blues Ski Shop, this year we have 5 new pairs of Rossignol B1 and B2 skis for you to play with. These are the market leading all mountain performance skis, the cruise missiles currently seen on the feet of the experts in the ski movies and good skiers everywhere. With the latest carving shapes and a bit more width than most skis (for better "flotation" in the powder), these little babies will help you float like a butterfly in the deep stuff and sting like a bee on the packed stuff.

The B1s are for those who like to spend more time on piste than off, while the wider B2s suit those who really are just as happy on either. With our existing range of Rossignol and Head carving skis for beginners and intermediates we therefore now have our biggest and best ever range of skis to suit all abilities. And they're faster and more FUN!!! (You do like fun don't you?!)

We also offer snowboards (and soft boots), Rossignol and Lange ski boots and snowblades plus free ski and boot bags to carry them in.

Our hire rates are therefore excellent value while offering mostly brand new equipment (in many cases just out of the wrapper!) You will pay much less than the prices charged by regular ski hire shops in Scotland or abroad. You will also get a ski bag thrown in FREE when you hire for a week or more. Think of all those extra beers and jugs of gluhwein you could buy with the money you've saved.

Ski's For Sale

They were bought new from Blues 3 years ago. They have had very light use, typically going out twice a season. They incorporate a rental binding so we can adjust them to your boot size in a few moments without re-drilling the binding to the ski. This also makes them easy to sell on in future too. The bindings alone are probably worth £50.

The skis are fully serviced and ready to use. The head X10 is a beginner to intermediate ski, but not beyond. The head X40 is an intermediate to advanced ski. Contact Elspeth if you are interested.
