Weekends
We organise weekends throughout the year in various locations for skiing, snowboarding and other outdoor activities.
Spring, summer and autumn weekends
Whilst we do enjoy focusing on skiing and snowboarding in the winter, many of our members transition to hill walking, cycling (mountain and road) and many other outdoor activities for the rest of the year and our weekends away at this time helps to get everyone together to enjoy these activities.
Our weekend trips vary year-0n-year but have included visits to Brighouse Bay, Tralee Bay and Northumberland in recent years.
Winter weekend
The annual winter weekend in February is always a highlight with around 90 members travelling up to the west coast of Scotland for a fun weekend of skiing, snowboarding, cycling, walking, ice-climbing or, in some cases, just eating cake!
Our winter weekend adventures have taken us to Braemar, Newtonmore and, most recently, to Ballachulish near Fort William.
Weather and snow permitting, we ski and snowboard at Nevis Range or Glencoe, and you can take part in the infamous race. If there is no snow, there are lots of alternative local activities.
